It has turned out to be a good decision to visit a small town in the far south of Crete. Bougainvillia tumbles over white walls, where the cooing of doves may be heard and all the while the reassuring blue of the Mediterranean pounds in the background. It has taken awhile for all my cells to reassemble, and the time change is dire, but somehow I am pulling through and who wouldn’t?
