Sometimes people's behaviour can be a shock. Right out of the blue. Someone who is hugely influential, posted a comment about another writer that struck me in the gut. It was so close-minded andvitriolic that I was stunned. Not just by the ignorance the comment was based on but by the acidity with which it was delivered. Simple research would have revealed the author had an accurate perspective based on scientific research but further investigation was not even a consideration. It was a scathing review of another writers careful work. I does not matter if one does not agree but to tear into them so viciously?
With things rocking and rolling in the world right now it can bring out the worst as well as good. In tough times it is always so interesting who is kind and who takes up the machine gun either figuratively or literally. As if hurting others is a solution. I will never understand this line of reasoning but it seems a common adoption. For me? Kindness is the way.
